I make my own henna paste out of 100% organic, FDA approved Henna Powder, pure 100% natural essential oils, and organic lemon juice.

I hand craft my own cones, which are promptly frozen to guarantee freshness.  My handcrafted henna is made of the highest quality ingredients available. The henna smells wonderful, and will give you amazing results!

Henna After Care Instructions

Mehndi, the application of henna, and its characteristic color depend on proper care.  Following these few easy instructions will ensure a long lasting and beautiful design.

• Keep henna paste on the skin as long as possible,
•  a minimum of 4- 6 hours is suggested.
• The longer the henna stays on, the darker the stain.
• If you receive henna late in the evening, you may choose to cover your design.  Use latex-free medical tape,  cotton balls and other breathable products like toilet paper to keep your paste intact and protected overnight.  Henna stains clothes and sheets!!  If leaving on overnight it must be wrapped.  Simply remove the paste in the morning and keep dry for at least 12 hours.
• Remember!  Henna Loves Heat
• Stay dry and warm while your dried henna paste is on the skin.  Brush off excess dried henna with your nail,  a towel,  or even a business card.  Do not scrub.  A little olive oil can remove the last small bits of paste.
• DO NOT USE WATER.
• Henna will leave a faint orange color that will darken over 24 to 48 hours. Do not get your design wet (shower, pool etc.) for
•  at least 6 -12 hours after brushing off dried henna.
• Care for your design by not exfoliating the skin
•  (scrubbing, harsh scraping, itching, etc.)
• Generously apply olive oil or other natural vegetable moisturizers like cocoa butter to ensure a long lasting stain.
• If you anticipate extended exposure to water, such as swimming or showering, apply a vegetable based moisturizer to protect your design.  Avoid chlorine !!!
• Wear gloves when doing dishes.
• Henna stains last 7 – 10 days with proper care, then  gradually fade.

JoJo’s Party Pals is not responsible for stains occurring during after care.  Please be careful.  Henna can flake off while drying.  Try to avoid excessive movement of the henna.  Enjoy!
